University life in Australia is a funny little mix of independence, deadlines, coffee runs, questionable sleep schedules and wondering how it is somehow assessment week again.

Whether you're starting university for the first time, returning to study after a break or simply trying to figure out how to survive another semester, university can be a pretty big adjustment.

So, from one uni student to another, here are a few things I've learnt along the way.
