Girls Who Gather started as a simple idea and has grown into a space for connection, friendship and community. Created for women aged 18 to 40, this community is all about bringing women together through the simple things — good coffee, movement, great books and genuine conversation. In a world where making new friends as an adult can sometimes feel difficult, I wanted to create a welcoming space where women can meet new people, connect and build meaningful friendships.

Each week, we’ll gather for coffee and a chat at a local café, head out for a walk or run, or get together for book club. When it comes to our walks and runs, there’s no pressure to be the fastest or fittest — you can choose what feels comfortable for you, with one group for running/jogging and another for walking. There’s also no pressure to be the biggest reader or the most outgoing person in the room. Just come as you are.

Whether you’ve recently moved to Canberra, you’re looking to meet like-minded women, you’re hoping to make new friends, or you simply want to try something new, Girls Who Gather is a place where you’re always welcome.
