Sleep hygiene is the healthy habits, daily routines, and bedroom environment you have developed in order to get a good, consistant nights sleep. It is a simple way to support your body's natural internal clock.
Tips:
Daily Habits
Wake up and go to bed at the same time every day.
Get natural sunlight during the day (vitamin D)
Exercise regularly
Limit caffeine, heavy meals, and alcohol late in the day
Bedtime Routine
Reduce exposure to blue light by turning off phones, TVs, and bright screens an hour or two before sleep
Do a calming activity like reading or stretching
Go to bed only when you feel tired.
Sleeping Environment
Keep your bedroom dark, quiet, and cool
Use your bed only for sleeping, not for other tasks like working, eating or watching TV
Make sure your mattress and pillows feel comfortable

Eating well is important for your overall health and wellbeing
Good nutrition can:
give you more energy and strength
help you achieve or maintain a healthy weight
improve your mood
What to drink:
Fluids are essential for the body to function. All the organs, tissues and cells in your body need fluids to keep working properly.
As a general guide, you should aim to drink at least 8–10 glasses of fluid per day. Most of this should be plain water, but fluid from soups, smoothies, milk, fruit juices, or ice cubes is also good.

Overcoming a lack of motivation
It involves action nefore feeling, micro steps, and self compassion. Instead of waiting for inspiration, you can start by changing small behaviors, breaking down big chores, and resting when tired.
Tips to get moving:
Action first: Do not wait to feel ready as action comes before the feeling of motivation.
Micro-goals: Break up a big task into smaller steps
Be kind to yourself: Stop harsh self-talk. Rest if your body and mind are tired.
Change the scene: Move to a new room or go for a short walk outside
Reach out for help: talk to a friend, family member, professional e.g. your local doctor or somebody you trust in your community
