Martha’s is a trendy bakery-café tucked away in Sydney’s Inner West, known for its specialty coffee, beautifully crafted pastries and creative flavour combinations. With its stylish fit-out and inviting atmosphere, it’s the kind of place that makes you want to slow down, order something sweet and enjoy a little cafe date.

Iced Latte with Vanilla Cold Foam 🧊
Let's start with the coffee, because a cafe visit just wouldn't be complete without one! The iced latte topped with vanilla cold foam was a highlight of my visit. The vanilla cold foam adds a little something extra to your everyday iced coffee, making it a lovely option if you enjoy your coffee with a hint of sweetness.
Basque Cheesecake 🍰
If you're a cheesecake lover, this is one to add to your must-try list. Basque cheesecake is known for its beautifully caramelised top and creamy centre, making it a delicious option when you're craving something indulgent. It was definitely one of the sweet treats worth making room for!
Pistachio Passionfruit Pastry 💚
This pastry caught my eye, and it was a lovely excuse to try something a little different. The combination of pistachio and passionfruit brings together nutty flavours and fruity brightness in one tempting pastry. If you're someone who loves trying creative pastry combinations rather than sticking to the usual croissant, this is one to look out for.
The Atmosphere
One of the things I loved about Martha’s was the overall vibe. The cafe felt cosy yet trendy, with a stylish aesthetic that makes it a great spot for catching up with friends, enjoying a solo coffee date or simply treating yourself to a little something sweet.
There was both indoor and outdoor seating, which is always a bonus. Whether you prefer sitting inside and soaking up the cafe atmosphere or enjoying your coffee outdoors, there's an option to suit your mood.
The friendly staff were another highlight. Warm and welcoming service always makes a cafe visit that little bit better, and it definitely added to the experience.

Of course, I couldn't possibly try everything in one visit!
While I enjoyed exploring the sweet side of the menu, I'd love to return and try some of Martha's savoury options. From its savoury pastries to its lunch offerings, there's plenty more to explore for my next visit.
