Cartel Tacos

If you’re a taco lover, Cartel Tacos is definitely one to add to your list. With a fun, relaxed atmosphere and a menu centred around tacos, Mexican flavours and refreshing drinks, it’s the perfect spot for a casual meal with friends or a laid-back night out.

The menu is small and focused, with tacos packed with flavour and plenty of fresh toppings. But for me, there are a few standouts that you absolutely have to try.

🌮 What to Order

My number one recommendation is the La Gamba taco — chilli and garlic butter king prawns with guacamole, caramelised pineapple salsa and Mexican cheese. The combination of sweet, spicy and garlicky flavours makes this one seriously delicious taco.

The pulled pork tacos are another must-try. The pork is packed with flavour and paired with fresh toppings, making them a great choice if seafood isn't your thing.

You can't have Mexican food without a Margarita! The Fresh Classic Lime Tommy Margarita is the perfect drink to go alongside a plate of tacos and adds to the fun, holiday-like atmosphere.

Cartel Tacos is definitely worth getting out for! 🌮

Carnita taco: Pork shoulder, caramelised pineapple salsa, pickled red onion, Mexican cheese, crispy tortilla.

Langosta Especial: Butter-poached WA lobster, house béchamel, mexican cheese, crispy tortilla, served with lobster prawn bisque*not gluten free, bechamel has flour.

La Gamba: Chilli-garlic butter king prawns, guac, caramelised pineapple salsa, Mexican cheese, crispy tortilla (a little spicy).

I definitely recommend booking ahead as it can get popular.
